Watchable, but not overly great...

I sat down to watch the 2021 D. C. animated movie "Justice Society: World War II" with my 11 year old son, because I wouldn't otherwise really have had any interest in such a particular movie such as this.

And while "Justice Society: World War II" definitely was watchable, I have to admit that towards the end, I was sitting with a feeling of 'seriously? So it was all essentially just for nothing!' So it was somewhat of an anti-climatic ending that there was to the storyline here for me.

I will say, though, that the animation and the art style they used in "Justice Society: World War II" was actually interesting and good. It felt somewhat like a mixture between the classic cartoons of the 1980s that I grew up with and what they produce today.

I cannot claim to be familiar with the names on the cast list for this 2021 animated movie. But I will say that they voice actors and actresses definitely delivered good performances and made the characters seem real and alive. And for an animated movie, then a proper voice cast is alpha and omega, and they definitely nailed it here.

My son seemed to enjoy the storyline, as there were two Flash characters running around. And he was especially interested in the storyline told in "Justice Society: World War II" given the World War II setting. And yeah, I enjoyed that as well, but around halfway through the story and towards the end, it just faded into the background and it just turned into your average superhero against supervillain type dripple, as it tends to be in animated superhero movies.

I am sure that there will be an audience for something like "Justice Society: World War II". And don't get me wrong, I am not saying that it is bad or anything, it just didn't really capture my interest and it felt lukewarm and rather pointless with that ending.

All in all, then my rating of this 2021 D. C. animated movie lands on a mediocre five out of ten stars.

Surprisingly intense, funny, and touching! Really should watch it! A recommended film! Well done!

This film start with the introduction of the member of the Justice Society, and Barry Allen having conversation with his girlfriend scene! As turnout, this film is about Barry Allen when fighting the villain "Brainiac" alongside with Superman, he accidentally transport to the World War II universe, and he eventually need to assist Justice Society to defeat The Nazis! Entire film full of quite intense action scene! Such as, punching, throwing, smashing, hitting, things broken, explosion, shooting from the tank, shooting from the jet, shooting from the army, shooting with laser eye, electrocution, shielding, using sound wave to fight, and stabbing! Make the film quite watchable! Touching scene! Such as, Hawkman saving Black Canary, and die! Steve propose to Diana, and die! Make the film quite heartwarming to watch! At the end, after saving the World War II world, Barry Allen back to his universe helping Superman killing Brainiac! That's it! A must watch film!

Another example of why The West is Creatively Bankrupt

If you're looking for a DC animation that sets up lots and pays them off in the end, this is not for you. Nazi magic items, where? Flash's role was important when? If anything he made himself and Garrick weaker most of the movie. Why were nazis even apart of this film? Only for the Atlantans to be the big bad in the end. I really hope this is a stand alone and if that's the case it makes this film that much worse because plots were essentially set up to never be established. Iris west, are we really gonna canonize this tokenized Iris West? Shes not black and you don't need to put a black face on established characters of any other race. If you want black characters then just make them and make them likable as you would any other mainstream hero, but then again considering how bad this film was if they did that, the character would be atrocious.

What I did like was the animation, it wasn't great but it was different. The fighting was decent too. That's pretty much it, watch this if you're bored.
